APC CAME IN AND ADAMAWA FORGOT THAT GEJ DID ALL THESE FOR THEM

   
Since taking office, President Goodluck Jonathan has followed through on the ambitious plans laid out in his Transformation Agenda, delivering significant achievements across all states of the nation.
Below are some of his many achievements in Adamawa:

Agriculture:

- Ended four decades of corruption in the fertilizer sector. Implemented the e – wallet system for the distribution of agricultural inputs to farmers.
- Implemented Dry Season farming projects.

Aviation:

- Remodeled Yola Airport, Adamawa.
- Installed Doppler Weather Radar for air safety.
- Installed a Low level wind shear alert system (LLWAS).
- Installed a Thunderstorm and Lightning Detector to ensure air safety.
- Installed Upper Air Sounding Equipment, Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR).
- Established a Cargo Airport.

Education:

- Established girls boarding schools in the state, encouraging girl child education.
- Established Almajiri Schools, helping to provide proper education for the less privileged children in the state.
- Commissioned a new NAF Comprehensive Secondary School in Yola.

Health:

- Established the SURE-P Project on Primary Health Care.

Power:

- Established 2 x 60 MVA, 132/33KV substation at Mubi, 2 x 60 MVA, 132 / 33 KV Substations at Gulak 132 KV double circuit transmission line, 30 MVA, 132/33 KV mobitra at Mayo Belwa, Adamawa state.

Water:

- Completed the Jada dam and Chouchi Irrigation project, helping to boost the economic fortune of the state.

Road:

- Re-constructed the Mayobelwa Zing Road.
- Commenced reconstruction of the Gombe-Numan-Yola road, which is ongoing.
- Completed Gombe-Numan-Yola road.

Youth Empowerment: 

- Launched YouWIN grants, which have been awarded to youths in the state.
- Launched the SURE-P youth empowerment scheme.
