YOUTHS DECIDE: PRESIDENT JONATHAN VS MUHAMMADU BUHARI; WHO IS MORE PRO YOUTH ???

Let's do a quick analysis of the antecedents of
President Jonathan, Muhammad Buhari, their party and
how they've affected the younger generation with their
policies.

(PRESIDENT JONATHAN)

1. The PDP under the leadership of President Goodluck
Jonathan at their convention elected 30 year old
Abdullahi MaiBasira to lead the youths.

2. Few months into his Presidency, thousands of young
Nigerians received "YouWin" grants to set up and
expand their businesses.

3. President Jonathan ordered a 100% increase of
members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
allowances, from meagre N8,250 to N19,500.

4. President Jonathan birthed the Graduate Internship
Scheme (GIS). Under this scheme, graduates who have
completed their national youth service are attached to
a firm to gain experience while the government also
pays the participant a stipend.

5. PDP under Jonathan constructed 12 brand new
Universities from scratch, 9 of these 12 new
universities are located in Northern Nigeria.

6. Massive involvement of youths in rice farming which
contributed greatly in cutting down our food import by
over 80%.

(BUHARI)

1. The APC selected a 54 year old former House of
Representative aspirant to occupy the only position
traditionally reserved for young people in political
parties.

2. Buhari did not build a single university as Head of
State.

3. Buhari disband the National Association of Nigerian
Students (NANS) and scrapped subsidised feeding in
Nigerian Universities.

4. No youth programme executed under buhari's
military regime.

5. Buhari paid $500 million dollars for cancelling
Jakande’s Lagos metro rail project instead of paying
USD450 million to complete same.

6. Buhari told 'INEC' in 2003 that he had 150 cows. He
still has 150 cows after 11 years...talk about stagnant.
